CompuShift Opinions wanted.

I"ve got a Defender 110 fitted with a 300tdi Discovery engine and 4 speed autobox. I recently killed the gearbox, so am going to Ashcroft and getting one of their upgraded boxes.

I'm thinking of the CompuShift and wondering what people reckon?
I offroad quite a bit, but have also just bought a caravan so will be towing as well. Just interested in what everyone reckons to them, good points and bad, any useful setup tips would be cool too.

the 300tdi auto is a hydraulic box not electronic , so dont see what you need compushift for ?

4HP22EH would be electric, no?

Anyone who's got one who could actually tell me what they're like? Opinions etc?

P38 auto is a 22eh IIRC , they have a tcl at about 50mph , which can be a bit of a pain in traffic as you end up going miles not quite in top gear for best fuel economy . Cant say i have noticed anything out of the ordinary compared with my 300tdi auto 90 or freelander td4 auto Havnt towed with it , but done about 109000 without any probs (touch wood) HTSH
