Hi all. I'm new to the site today and have joined out of a love of land rovers obviously. But also due to a lack of information I'm searching for on line. I'm 3/4 way through renovating a 88" trials / comp motor and just need a few pointers. I'm fine with the build and running gear etc as Iv built CCV trail motors in the past, what I'm unsure about are the finishing touch regs for the motor to compete in Comp Safari, (always wanted a go so this year I'm jumping in!) I know about rain/dust lights, snell helmet, cover view of all tyres from above etc. I'll be running to ALRC and am booked in for the national this year. The stuff I'd like to know about is; do I need a rear view mirror, do I need window mesh, do I need mud flaps front and rear, does my number go on the back roll cage or on the door? Iv looked at various club sites as well as ALRC and MSA site but I simply can't find these trivial details, or others which I'm sure Iv forgot. Hopefully someone can at least answer my questions or better still give me a link to some regs that are relevant to ALRC spec comp safaris. Thanks in advance for any advice. 👍
