Hi, can I ask a favour of someone please?

I am convinced (or paranoid more like, lol) that my Td4 van aint riding as high as others that I pass, whether that be 3dr's, 5dr's or other vans.

Granted, I carry some weight in the back but still seems to sit quite low.

Would someone, preferably with a commercial or a 3dr be able to measure the front and rear clearance, from an easily identifiable point so I can go and do the same to mine and compare.

Maybe using the points on the sill where you use ths jack, or the rear subframe etc?

Would appreciate it, thanks very much

hi steve i have a td4 station wagon i feel the same in mine but when parked next to another freelander its the same i think its the seating persision that throws you

Im more going from looking at another when Im following, the back end always seems to be higher and the height between between the top of the tyre and wheelarch seems greater too.

Small fleet of TD4 comms, sitting on standard 15" steel rims with Michelin Synchrone 195/80/15 tyres at 28psi pressure. Each loaded with 1 additional heavy duty battery, power pack and 2 tonne trolley jack. Measurements taken from floor to front and rear jacking points: 240 to 245 mm clearance. D..
