colour match

1998 300tdi.trying to match paint on body work but having trouble finding matching colour.all i can find is something called epsom blue witch is to light.my disco is dark blue.is there a name for this colour like landy blue or disco dark blue.cant find match and doing my nuts on spray tins.maybe there is a colour code somewhere but dont know where?any help welcomed.thanks

get to the local main dealers they should have a record of it on there computers ....... well they did with mine even gave me the radio code and key code for free

The colour code on mine is a 3 digit number located on a aluminium plate.

If you lift the bonnet you should see it to the right of the bonnet latch.

Mine's a 94' 300Tdi, it's colour code is JUJ Plymouth Blue (5th on Discool's list above)
