Cofirmation neede from those who tow

I have just changed my battery and alternator and now my trailer dash light flashes just once with the indicators but on the old battery and alternator it never worked

That's a strange one, but at least you have found a fix !!!
The battery and alternator on my car are both fine. As posted, since replacing the unit with a Lucas all is 100%.
For those of you that have the same problem as I did with the Britpart flasher unit, perhaps a mail to Britpart may sort things out for you...it's not as though they are not aware that there could be an issue with them.
