road down and back up.

Well I've just done a round trip of 498 miles @ an average of 65MPH and computer tells me I got 28.1 to the gallon. I know it's chipped and not accounted for but better than a poke in the eye.

P.S. All of that was for two cups of coffee! But the company I had certainly made up for it.

Not to mention the pink balloon he was dancing around the car with between his teeth. Shouting chase me, chase me.
he does worry me the way he behaves, but taking that balloon of a 3 year old was just to much. i dont think he gets out a lot.. tbh. and yes woogoo it was a long way, i take my hat off to you mate..10/10 for that..

Where's the Claw. Not got lost on way home again?

he not got anything to say for himself, so i conclude he is guilty of everything we have said about him. did you see that kid crying when he took her balloon of her, bad bad man..

I know it's a bit off topic, but is that a good MPG??
Is that petrol or diesel?

Diesel, chipped so I'd reckon you can minus that by 3 so 25 to gallon in real terms, I'd say it was very good considering the average speed was 65. But others may think / say otherwise.

OK, cheers for the reply. I was only asking as I have just installed one of those K&N air filters and I have found a huge difference.

She used to do around 20MPG (14.2 L/100Km) urban and about 25MPG (11.3 L/100Km) on a motor-way run (avg 105Kmph).

Now she is doing just under 28MPG (10 L/100Km) urban and around 30MPG (9.4 L/100Km) on a motor-way run (avg 105Kmph) and even less on "A" roads (33MPG @ an avg 90Kmph).

Mine is a 2.5DSE

Hi Phil,

You got a part no / supplier for this air filter? Sounds like money well spent to me.

Here you go, there's 2 for the petrol version and 2 for the diesel versions, just take note of the dates:

- K_and_N_Filters

I end up getting nearly all my stuff from those guys as stuff is a tad on the pricey side over here in Portugal i.e. 1 air spring over here sets you back €344.85 incl VAT!!!!!!! I bought all 4 from Paddocks for only €331.00 and that included VAT and P&P to me here in Portugal!
