There should also be 2 other brake warming lamps lit during the self test - the HDC Active (as well as HDC Error) and the generic Brake warning lamp (brake shoe symbol which should stay on until the hand brake is released I believe).

I was just looking on YouTube for the warning lamp self test sequence. Came across this video of an Autel MD802 clearing the ABS codes on a Freelander. It has a menu of all the LR models, inc Freelander. Selecting Freelander give options for F1 or F2. Selecting F1 gives options for Engine, AT, ABS, Airbag, Instrument Pack, Security, Tail Door, and Exterior Lighting - not sure what it can do on some of them. Selecting ABS gives options for 1998-2000, 2001-2002 and 2002-2004 - once again, not sure why its 2002-2004 not 2002-2006, but at least it does show the 3 different versions of the F1 ABS.

Dunno if it works on the L Series of course even though it shows the right options. Looks like to £135 from these people...

Happiness is a cigar called Hamlet...

Generally these boys come on as a threesome. If there is an ABS fault, it is hard to imagine how the TC would work? But if the TC lamp comes on at start up and then extinguishes, then this is a bit of a mystery. I have the owners booklet that explains the combinations of lights, but my car has Teeves Mk20, and yours is a Wabco-D, so there may be differences.

O.K so written to Icarsoft with the email chain from 2014 showing how all the different bits of functionality that don't work have been repeatedly promised in updates over the last 5 years !!

ABS, Autobox, Injector balance etc.......
I emailed the USA Headquarter, Barnett Davies on [email protected]
I have summarised the appalling chain of events in boring detail.
I have asked for a refund as the product will not deliver as advertised.
I await response. Others could do the same?!?!
Hi any luck with icarsoft

No reply to the request to refund as not as advertised!
Many daft replies to my questions. Like, update it to latest, only obd2 cars work with the icarsoft etc....
Clearly the tech support is a salesman.
Will chase and update.
