true, true, but for less money you can get a proper DiskLok - which is going to do a much better job (imho)

No security is not advisable, but, a pedal box only makes it annoying to drive away, well, so does a disklok, added immobilisers, etc. however, a Disklok + wheel on full lock makes it very hard to tow away or put on the back of a truck without a hyab. - a pedal box doesn't.
