Right im puzzled again...wats new!!! There is absolutely no resistance on the clutch pedal, if there were a breze it would flap in it, thats how loose it is. i tried to bleed it but that didnt work, there is fluid in the resevoir but it still wont bleed. The cylinder in the engine bay looks fine and there arent any leaks in the pipes, so i was wondering what else could it be!? does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this!? thanks for your help once again!

i would check the seals in the master cylinder and slave cylinder, look at the slave cylinder first as its easier to get to, the seals can turn to mush and hence loss of pressure, if it looks dodgy change both, new units are fairly cheap but if the bores are perfect you could just use a reseal kit

when you were bleeding the system did you pump the pedal?

i always use a jam jar and some old clear pipe, keep pumping untill no air comes out, and the keep the pedal fully down and tighten up the bleed nut.

yeah i know how to do it, turns out its a seized master cylinder took the whole lot out today now just need to buy a new one, took me half a day to get one of the nuts off that holds the cylinder in place, was in the most stupid place lol not good. thanks for the help!

ive been having problems with the clutch too. good thing is tho, i can bleed it all out in about 10 mins!

think the seals have gone in the master as sometimes fluid will run down the pedle, sounds like a baster of a job

cheers.

THAT FEKIN BOTTOM BOLT!!!! i decided the whole master cylinder needed to be replaced (the rod that goes into the bell housing of the cylinder is completely seized, and when i emptied the cylinder of oil, a lot of gunk came out) but that feking bottom bolt took me about half a day to get that off!!! gah, oh well at least i know what the problem is now!
