clutch

just had a new clutch fitted drove it for about half an hour and you smell the clutch anyone have any ideas

Is it slipping?

I've fitted one on a td4 04 and an 02, no smells...

Did you replace full kit ie slave cylinder clutch plate and clutch. is pedel returing to orginal pos when not depressed as could be little air is system also have seen master cylinder fail after cluttch has been replaced. I replaced clutch in my old td4 with great sucsess no burning smell these only thing i can think off. another thing straight of the top of my head are sure its clutch your smelling and not brakes as if it had been sitting with brakes on could pos stick causeing same smell as clutch

If you can smell it, it IS slipping. Or whomsoever fitted it forgot the clean the preservative off the pressure plate.

no es td4 es tdi es diferente el sistema ,cambie todo el kit completo marca britpart me parece que esa marca es de mala calidad ALIMACK??

NO PATINA EL EMBREAGUE ,ZAPATEA AL SALIR EN 1 ERA VELOCIDAD EN UN SUBIDA PEOR LO HACE ,MARCA BRITPART ME PARECE DE MALA CALIDAD

hola,repare el disco de embreague original ingles y el plato de embreague ingles original y a quedado ok no zapatea mas era el kit britpart es de mala calidad,saludos y gracias
