Clutch slave cylinder

Hi,
TD5 1999

Massive leak out of my clutch slave cylinder, time to change it. Started to unbolt it last night and fluid started to leak out between slave body and clutch housing. Do I need to drain something or is this just the result of the cylinder leaking?
Any advice appreciated!:eek:
 
it will be whats come out of slave as you pulled it out often rubber gaiter gets pulled off,releasing fluid caught behind it ,you can remove wading plug if worried
