clutch problem

hi all i am so p155ed off to tryed to fit a clutch slave today but the clip on the arm was broken so i took the engine out sorted it out fitted the new slave with engine out and the slave feels very stiff but i fitted anyway went on test drive once i put engine back in got to the top of the street at the clutch pedal was stuck solid
now the cluch pedal is stuck solid does anyone think it could be a faulty slave thats sticking

before i fitted the slave i tryed pushing the cylinder in and it was really stiff could theis be the problem

You can have problems where the rod goes through the swivel/pivot thing. If the threadlock nut on the end of the rod is over-tightened it can stop the pedal from going down or back up.
