Hi everyone. Had a search yesterday found some information off other people posts but still havent got a working clutch.

I changed my clutch and flywheel for a new valeo set, spigot bush and have changed both slave and master cyclinder. To no avail has it worked still cant put into any gear with engine running but with the engine not running can get every gear.

Can anybody shed some light on what might be causing my problem.

Thanks

Have rebleed the clutch through about 10 times and have a good pedal

Did it engage/ dis gage correctly before you replaced it? Could be 2 things if you have a good pedal, spigot bush needs reaming out or clutch plate fitted backwards

Sometimes they can be a little tight and stop it even when they've gone in nicely, have you tried starting it in gear with your foot on the clutch? That may just free it if it's all that is stoping it

Sounds to me like you have installed the clutch plate the wrong way round IMHO thus the clutch can't disengage, are you certain you installed it the correct way round flatter side to flywheel?

I have to agree after i rang the person who fitted the clutch that he isnt sure if he checked it when he put it in but he presumes it went back in the correct way so have had a couple of people i know take a look at it and they all say clutch plate wrong way
