The clutch pedal on my Landrover Defender 2009 TDCI has gone solid close to the top of it's travel. Prior to that for some time the pedal had been coming up very slowly when you took your foot off. Can anyone advise if this is a known problem on the 2.4 TDCI? Had to have it towed home by a pal tonight as the lovely RAC decided that the registration doesn't have a valid MOT..... in fact it does... makes you wonder what you're paying for.

Thanks in anticipation.

I dunno, I believe the clutch fluid shares it's hygroscopathy with the brake fluid so perhaps the csc has shit the bed,

one other possibility is the pedal return spring doing something untoward.

This diagnosis is based on me doing ONE puma clutch and my memory is somewhat...

Sorry, I am quite sure that you are trying to help me so no intention to sound rude at all but I have absolutely no idea what you mean. If I google 'defenders of the faith' it points to a Judas Priest album.
