Clutch not engaging???

I'm not sure if the title is correct, let me explain:

After leaving my FL1 at the local airport, upon my return the engine switched on, I put it in 1st and released the clutch. No movement. I tried all gears but the car wouldn't budge. As I'm a weak and feeble female, 3 men nearby all tried to help but couldn't get it to move. After taking several minutes to phone AA I tried again and it worked. I drove home without any problems.

This morning after it had been stood for 2 days, I tried to drive away but got the same problem. This time I realised I could 'put it in gear' without using the clutch. I've tried several times today but no luck. Any ideas?

could be the slave cylinder mounting bracket that is broken!

Friction plate binding on first motion shaft ?

I haven't a clue what that means. Sorry.

dont worry 1/2 of them on here wouldnt know either

it basically means your clutch plate inside your gearbox is not sliding in and out, hapens sometimes
