Hi,
Could someone give me an idiots guide on how to change the Clutch fluid on a 300TDI 90 Defender. I am sure it cannot be that hard but some advice would be most welcome..

Loosen bleed nipple on slave cylinder, push a length of tubing onto it and put the other end into a jar or something and then pump clutch peddle til it runs dry. Re-fill resevoir and bleed clutch in normal way.

Probably a good idea to change fluid for new rather than topping up if you dont know history. Brake fluid absorbs air if left open so if you replace for new, you will know for sure its ok. If the clutch is working ok and you are unsure how to bleed system, then just top up.

Thank you have no problem with clutch the peddle is a bit on the high side if I was being picky just read somewhere about clutch adjustment and thought afterward never looked at fluid level!! Will top up for now as i have no idea jow to bleed the thing. thanks again for advice.
