Ello,
Hoping for some help with diagnostics. Driving and went to change into third. Pedal went half down and was able to change to second, went to change back to third and then went totally solid....Unable to engage clutch from then on but was able to rip it down to second and finally first before finding an appropriate place to park (that wasn't the back of the bus in front of us...).
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Bearers of bad news will be cursed....

Ok, thanks, that's really helpful. As soon as I get it back I can try and figure out what's wrong how to remedy it. If there's anyone near that fancies helping out (!?)...yeh, I'd be more than appreciative....

As above mate if your really lucky its just the slave cylinder:)
Less than £30 plus fitting if you can't
Good luck

will be alreet, if it is the clutch arm, fit the HD version to stop it happening again, and whilst you have the gearbox out (some people say its easier to remove the engine though) you might as well change the clutch itself and the rear crank oil seal whilst your there.

Would be a right PITA if you dropped the box, fixed the arm then 2 weeks later your clutch failed or the oil seal failed lol and you have to drop the box again.
