Clunge

clunge is part of the steering wheel to seat interface its at the lower end at seat level, its correct lubrication should be a light bio-oil, once removed from the vehicle it can be serviced although if you miss when inserting your tool and accidentally insert it in the alternate socket (mounted lower when unit is on its back) could cause problems with further usage and even cause injury

my advice is whenever servicing an unknown unit use a protective membrane on your tool

i know the feeling myself j,bloody painfull but i still have the tide mark halfway along the tool in question though.

ah you failed to manipulate the alternate socket and lubricate it prior to tool insertion..... rookie mistake, all is not lost though, prior to re-trying this method you need to apply alcohol to the unit via the filler hole at the top, then applying the correct re-programming (this needs to be done verbally) you can try again,

first find your additional lubricant supplied in Kit frc5200(alternately you can use butter) apply lubricant with your hands then apply some to the tool,

now you are ready to try again first ease said tool into the clunge

remove tool from clunge then gently ease the tool into the alternate socket (this may require some force)

for broken tools you can either go to a general practitioner and ask about tool repair or if you are on a tight budget or don't have time duck tape can be used to repair most damage

the lubricant was ample and both sockets have been well used previously,not my regular vehicle though,just one i use occasionally for pleasure purposes only.this alternate model suddenly developed a horrendous backfire,it was this that caused the said mark halfway along the tool.luckily this was not an ongoing problem so normal riding position was resumed.

i am sure the said tool will not be broken just lightly damaged.said jelly will help tremendously.

as gemsdad has found additional models can be purchased or hired on a as needed basis, if your original model doesn't have the 'threesome' firmware the two should not meet as this will cause hardware and software problems,

if you are very lucky you may come across a model that has the 'amateur pornstar' software installed (this is available to download although most models cannot process this upgrade) if you find one of these every opportunity to use it should be taken

i am indeed fortunate as the extra clunge unit is availeable on a free to use basis.this helps enormously in my opinion.just have to make sure all tools used are kept clean and well looked after just in case original clunge needs a looking at.

Inserting the tool into tha alternate receptacle can prove difficult due to the presence of ess aitch one tee, the aformentioned bovine reamer should always be used first to ensure no damage occurs to the tool. As an alternative to the bovine reamer, a Karcher is quite effective if a little messy.
