Hi everybody, I'm new here.

Having talked about it for a long time I've finally taken the plunge and bought a Range Rover - 1988 EFi Auto.

I'm not new to Land Rovers - I previously had a 88" SW which was so beautiful that someone stole it while it was parked and I haven't seen it since.

Anyway, I was just wondering where people think would be the best place to get insurance - the Rangie has a few mods - 2" lift kit, slightly bigger tyres, LPG conversion and some spot lamps

Any advice gratefully received.:)

Try Lancaster insurence, was really cheap and had allsorts of extras thrown in, even covers me for pay and play days and greenlaning!

I'm only 26 and got my 3.9V8 disco with mods declared i.e 2" lift etc for £290 a year with 0 no claims!!!

Don't forget to put someone as a named driver on your insurance you'll save money believe it or not!

I saved a £100 on mine and my wife put me on hers and saved money as well even though I don't have any no claims!

You'll probably have to do a bit of ringing round as prices seem to vary so much.. i got mine from adrian flux, mines a 93' lse on lpg, cost me £180
