classic chassis number???

where do I find it exactly
its on a lhd '72

drivers side on mine so passenger for yours under the front wheelarch on the chassis leg itself between the four bolts that hold the power steering box on.

Actually it's neither I cannot find it, and it looks like where it should be it has been ground off :suspicious: :suspicious:

hmmm , well its either been ground off when somone else was looking for it- to get all the **** off I mean and that means its had a replacement chassis which is good so be happy!

or its a ringer - thats bad!

after 40 years ont he road you have to expenct most bits will have been changed- old leyland cars wouldnt still be about otherwise
