I need to remove the rear bumper from my classic but have found that the 2 mounting bolts are rounded off, and very rusty, can anyone suggest a way of removing it , as I am not able to get an angle grinder into the small gap to cut them off :(

Gas axe.
Or a good sharp chisel and a big hammer and smash the nut off.
Or try hammering a smaller socket onto the nut that sometimes works.
large hacksaw. remove blade and cut bolt off. this will take time and lots of patients, but you might just weaken it enough for a bit more hammer and chisel:D

Try hammering the smaller socket on first. *fail*
Swear
Chisel next, for a good 10mins. *fail*
Curse
Hacksaw blade **** about. *fail*
Shout.
Hammer some more. *fail*
Give up....no DONT give up NEVER give up! Hammer and chisel some more till it breaks off, do the other side, with the new found inspiration...success:D
Finally eat something and nurse bleeding finger(s):D:D

Thats what I'd do:lol:

if its on you 3 door mate they are on metal plats with elongated slots in em. you put the bumper on by fitting the bolts to it, putting them through the holes in the rear cross emeber and sliding the plates over the bolts and tightening the heads down on to them.

the reason I am telling you this is if you can get the plates off with a hammer tapping them hard then you dont need to get the bolts out untill you have the bumper off. :D
