Don't know exactly, but I owned a white ex-police 1972 two-door with power steering. (although that may have been a custom spec)
The people that refurb classic 1960s Ford Mustangs retro-fit power steering all the time. So it's not difficult.

71 J reg had no power steering. It has now using a disco steering box....and disco 300tdi pump...because it has a disco 300 tdi engine
