Chopped front!

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to make some more room at the front of my Disco. I've seen lots of 200's at 'Devils Pit' with steering guards and what looks like the lower half of the front bumper removed.....
Not only does this look very cool it also looks very practical! But is it as straightforward as that?
Can anyone who has done this advise me before I do anything to mine?

It's just the lower skirt and the end caps that are cut down, they are easy to cut as they are just plastic.
There is a natural line to cut to in the moulding but it is worth drawing on a line that is easier to follow before starting to chop.
