Hi All,
I have a 2007 Freelander 2 HSE/HST that gets a lot of use out in the countryside as I'm a wildlife photographer. I've been thinking of putting some extra external lighting on as I'm often bumping along country lanes etc and some extra lights when required could be quite beneficial I think.
the problem is, I'm also a bit of a 'tart' and like my car to look smart as well as be functional! With this comes a dilemma of what lights to go for that will look the part but actually do a good job when required.
There seems to be very few images of FL2 with lighting systems on line and I was hoping that a few on here who may have customised lighting on your own FL2 might be prepared to post up a picture and ideas so that I can get a feel of what's around and what it will look like on the vehicle.
I know there are different methods of attaching light bars/spots to the vehicle such as 'number plate bars' etc but seeing how these look would be good before spending my hard-earned cash!
Any help or input would be greatly appreciated?
Many thanks
Higgy

I don't own a F2, or even have extra lighting on my F1 - so can't help.

But, in good old "you show me yours, I'll show you mine" fashion, I think its only fair that you post some of your wild life pics :)

PS - if you don't like to spoil the look of your car (or have the lights nicked), how about putting them on a detachable mount and only put them on when you're out being a wild life paparazzi.

Thanks GrumpyGel,

Removable is a good idea as you could still have them wired through to a switch but removable at the light end. One to think about!

Fair play about the pictures, not sure if they are of interest to folks on here but 'I'll show you mine if you show me yours'!!…

A few snaps and a bit of variety for whatever tickles your fancy!..

Enjoy..

(Oh maybe Land Rover will sponsor me!?! LOL :)
