choke setup?!

i just can manage to sort it out! do anyone know where i can find a step by step of settig up a choke on a weber? when i pull the cable out too far it dies and when i pull it out so it idles faster give it 2 mins it dies
 
ah dunt think thats yer choke doing that..you probelly need to set the timing first them yer carb mixture.

when you say choke ah take it you mean cold start?
