Discussions behind the scenes regarding keeping children amused at event we have following
1) Outdoor games equipment such as foam javelins and footballs
2) Woodland area with opertunities to learn some skills
3) Area for children to play and watch DVD if they bring along a couple
4) Hopefully small fair with reasonable priced rides.

The list is up for discussion and hopefully we can include some raffle prizes and competitions if people indicate what sort of age group their children are we can look at suitable prizes.

More details to follow

mine are 19 months and 3 1/2 years, and 12

The stuff I'm bringing is playthings for Infant school kids so up to 7 years old ish, but I dare bet the 12 year old would still enjoy some of it.

I do know that when we have an open day or summer fete we have a teacher who does the face painting, but to get her some help last year they also did transfer tattoos .. Father Christmas that sort of thing, that anyone can put on, I can enquire further if you think it'll be interesting ..

Our 6yo girl and 2 yo son are raring to go - he want to help Pikey take landys apart and have a go at driving daddy's round a big field!!

I cant say if i'll even make it due to getting ready for the ALRC Nationals but for sure we used to let the kids "trial rc cars" on a hastily made course usually after the beer tent It gives the kids a chance to compete with each other and see who is the best skilled driver.

Just an idea its more for the trials community but might be worthy of a go for the kids
