Chevy engine / gearbox oil cooler question

Hello there,

I have just got my Range Rover back on the road. Originally it was a 1989 Overfinch, full conversion, with the engine subsequently bored and stroked with a medium cam and Edelbrock carb.

The good bits have just been transplanted into a 1994 soft dash body, suspension, brakes, steering.

I was wondering whether anyone can help. The transmission warning light comes on, now and again. Usually around town, up hills etc but settles when there's some air flow through it. Does anyone know where I might be able to find an uprated cooler?

What transmission is it running?

How long since the last ATF change/flush?

Have you change/tested the transmission temperture sender?

If all else fails then Lamonova make very good replacement cooler used a lot on the winch challenge scene where there is little or no air flow over the transmission and the autoboxes get a hard work out.
