Chevy Altenator Conversion

Looking to get a slimmer profile altenator on my engine - I am stuck for space

..I was was looking at a few prices on realsteel last night - I cannot beleve how cheap Chevy parts are compared to RV8...

So I was wondering compatibility between Chevy and rover and has anyone done this before, also is chevy unit any smaller?

I will be keeping the RV8 lump, but will look it up anyway - Thanks again
