I was going to check the EAS compressor output as per the tech guide. As I need the car tomorrow I am just worried that the blue outlet pipe will twist and crack as the nut attaching it to the compressor doesn't look to be free turning. Also which end is best to remove, is it the one that connects to the compressor or the other end?

You need to put a finger over the compressor outlet to test. Make sure pipe does not twist, once the tube nuts are loose it should be straight forwards with care.

Incidentally the blue pipe assembly from Rimmer bros. Genuine Land rover part STC2760, is an eye watering £52.82. It cannot cost more than a couple of quid to produce. Where do they get their prices from?

Who'd of thought brass and plastic were so expensive???
It must be the craftsmanship involved!

Rimmer Bros always seem to move the decimal point too many times to the right when pricing their stuff. Dont know how they stay in business, the cost of their MX5 parts is a joke compared to other retailers.

It's not just Rimmer Bros in respect of this item. Price is pretty drastic elsewhere also.
