check engine light

ok so my td5 has trouble starting i am fairly sure it is the fuel filter house but every time i try and start it the check engine light keeps flashing after all the others go out, it was connected the a computer the other day and did not bring up any errors.

should i be worried or am i just proving that i know nothing ha ha

have you checked for oil in loom

no i have not checked. what should i do if i find. is it just a case of givin it a clean

You have to replace part of the loom with an improved one.

And if its in the ECU its not great news, you can try opening it up and cleaning the board and plug with electrical contact cleaner but it's not guaranteed to work
