Hi,
Anyone got any good recommendations for classic s2 insurance, i tried lancaster but was a bit more than i had hoped.
I have heard about people getting < £100 insurance
Thanks

adrian flux do classic landies and footman james can be quite cheap aswell.

what did lancaster quote for your age etc?

footman james i;m 17 and it cost me £800 for my series 3 lightweight !!!!!!!!!!!

I'm 47 with qualifications coming out of my ears and a full bonus.............still struggling to get below £500 in a disco td5..........I know that's a little off thread , but just to show a comparison. When I add the Mrs to the policy (even with 3 points on her licence) it drops £160..............explain that!

i know insurance is extremly confusing. insurance on anything other than a classic landrover was like 3k that was for a 1 litre punto but woundnt trade landy for the world, so much fun and community is v. helpful !

32 quid comprehensive
but i am old and boring..........................

I too am old and very boring so please share your knowledge with us. I am about to insure a '64 88" diesel 2A so i need the info asap, please, pretty please!!!!!!

I would be astonished if any ins co can offer a fully comp policy for £32. Their admin fees alone must be more than this. Unless you have it with a lot of conditions, i.e limited to 300yards a year inside your own garage with the engine switched off...But please prove me wrong.

Mee too, Towergate £114 no questions asked... well no n/claims needed anyways. limited mileage, but thats ok, I can't afford to go anywhere with the price of petrol anyway!!

RH specialist insurance 72 pounds fully comp 3k per annum with european wide breakdown cover.
Thats on a 1959 series 2 diesel.
Very happy loads of series 2 club members are using them.
Im 42, few accidents speeding etc
