Chassis welding, what should I disconnect beforehand?

Hi Folks,

I am planning to do some welding on the rear outriggers. What should I disconnect to protect the electronics prior to welding. Battery Obvs, but what else? Alternator? ECU? I've never done any welding on a vehicle so I've no idea what's sensible.

Battery as always and the alternator as a safety. Logically if these both are disconnected then there are no other risks as there are no connections from the live supply to complete any circuits. Ecu's, that's your choice nothing wrong with being cautious

Battery is the key to breaking the circuit, in my opinion. Especially if it's a 3 day effort plus satanic ritual involvement to disconnect anything else!!
