What door card type do i need?

Hi folks.
This door came from a Donor vehicle (africa) and I’m unsure as to what age and therefore what type of door card I need to get.
Can anybody give me an idea please as need to get it covered, Thanks.

You could try eBay, Exmoor Trim, or any parts supplier.
Type 'land rover defender door cards' into your browser and loads will come up

I did this on my safari door instead of buying vinyl covered card:

Plus one on above. I did the same on mine although made it myself from sheet along with a plate over the wiper motor. An advantage of this is that the checker plate adds strength to the door if carrying the spare.

Think some models have screen was reservoir in the door.

As @totot said. 1985 model, rear windscreen washer reservoir (plastic bag), pump and filler tube in rear door.

As my wiper box was ok I used that instead of making a CP version.
And yes, the CP adds strength to the door frame even though my spare is on a swing away carrier.

Hello Mate, I got my door card from recovery 4x4 on eBay for £80. Easy to fit to main frame. Made from abs plastic. They sell ones for different models but I’m sure the one I got would fit yours. One of the lads said metal one helps support the door which is advantage over this but I beefed my frame up anyway. Hope you get sorted.

I have a metal (alluminium cheq' plate) one somewhere ... let me dig it out and i will post pics.
We are opposite ends of the country so shipping maybe an issue (expense).
