im nearly complete on em chassis swap to a galv did it over the xmas break didnt have 1 bolt seized lucky me :) anyone else thinking about doing it ?

ye ive get to get them off my cam but and it at me dads work with car atm so will put them on asap just put body back on today complete with help of fork lifts :)

how did you go about lining up the body panels, or did you just lift them complete?

Take the lot off in one go if you can its easiest - although I appreciate not so if you have no lifting space/equipment.

If you do need to strip it then I wouldn't say its a biggy, when I did my bulkhead, I had EVERYTHING off except the tub.

Bonnet, wings, doors, sills, roof, so all that was left was the tub.

Had it been a chassis job and it was the tub off too, it would have been no bother. Just get the tub back on or bulkhead and away you go panels line up fine.

Doors is the hardest thing.

that wud b good. Im doing a straight chassis swap for what i have now - 300TDi/LT77 Short Bellhousing

Am happy to move the engine mounts etc if i have to, ill just get very happy with the paint in those areas.

Let me know the price if you find a good'un!
