Chassis rear out rigger

Any one know if a rear chassis to body out rigger can be bought, drivers side rear. For a DISCO 1 200 TDI

Don't think so. I was looking for one for a few months but I couldn't find anyone with a new one for sale. I ended up cutting a good one off a Disco that was being scrapped.

Ive got to do mine too (300tdi).......

can they be fabricated ? or do they have to be the exact thing ?

Easy bit of sheet metal work, get some 3mm plate a decent bit of white card, make some templates and away you go, easy enough.

Just be sure your welding is up to it! Body mounts are relatively important

Sorry forgot to photo at start, but chopped half off body bit and spot welded and MIG welded the rest. Will post finished job.

I used this guy last year and got two rear chassis legs with outriggers and back plate. Superb quality, reinforced sections and easy to weld. Longer than the regular ones offered on eBay.

Cheers for that I will keep that one for future use, I have finished the job now did a bit of fabricating pushing half in side what was left of the chassis half finished up better than I thought.
