chassis / back 1/4 section

Hi all i am on the look out for a discovery 1, 1/4 rear chassis or a cheap complete chassis,

Doesnt have to be perfect just not to far gone and not required patching.

I have a complete chassis with v5 probably a bit far from you though. Can get pictures up etc for you tomorrow if your interested.

Thanks pal, but it will be out of my league ie distance and price with v5, i am just on the scrounge for a old one doesnt need to have id

You'll probably end up buying a chassis and cutting what you need, disco chassis tend not to rot so not much about for repairs.

Someones selling a D2 chassis for £200 (rolling) if you fancy making it fit

Um, the late 97 300 models do have chassis rot issues. Mines registered jan 98, and chassis is worse than my 94 reg disco I'm using for spares.

It will be to replace a disco 2 rear chassis, as i have been told the difference is that disco 1 does not have angle iron in the rear of the chassis unlike later disco 2's hence the water sitting in between and rotting the metal.

got a 95 300tdi chassis £50 or make an offer and cut what you need of it.

Good lad just break the rules to sell stuff be prepared for a shafting off some of the others

I got a RRC chassis and got a friend with a 91 D1 breaking. Based in Hemel Hempstead. PM me if interested. Going to be scraped so want scrap money for them.

I'm in Tamworth and have a complete 1998 D1 chassis - overall very solid and just requires 1 small patch.
It was supposedly sold on eBay last week, but had feck all but excuses from the 'buyer'.

If you can arrange collection of it, it's yours for £30.

I don't see any problem with any of it, it's not like Colin14 was trying to sell anything other than the part asked for, as was I.
