chassie number

hi just re-chassied my 110 and it dosent have the chassie number on the new chassie so what do i have to do as i dont want to get stopped by the police and have loads of hassle if they look for one anyone know how it works when you re-chassie a landy thanks

I took mine to dvla and they were cool about it and let me keep my old chassis number. Bought a set of stamps and put them on my self which dvla wanted to see, no problems as long as you`ve kept the reciept for the new chassis and have proof of how you disposed of the old chassis.
