Changing over a battery--Is there a procedure to follow

Going to put a new battery on the Range Rover DT P38 model.

Is there a way of doing it so that all the elecrics stay working once the new one is fitted??

Use another battery and jump leads - have a look at http://www.rangerovers.net/rrupgrades/battery.html - it's easy if you go steady and have decent leads which don't slip but make sure you know the codes before you start.

Hi changing a battery over is really easy. Make sure you have unlock codes for everything like Radio/Sat nav/phone etc undo negative then possitive and remove battery fit new one in reverse and hey presto recode everything and it will work. You can even do it this way at 2am on the M6
