Changing colour

Hi guys

just a quick one. whats the correct procedure in changing the 90's colour. ive been thinking gun metal grey instead of keswick green thats currently on.

do i just get it sprayed the send a change of request to swansea and wait for the dvla to come out to inspect it?

or is there something else... never changed the colour on a motor before

Paint it and the notify the DVLC/DVLA, or whatever they are called this week, of the change of colour.
You need to return the V5 as well, so that it can be updated.
Simple and straight forward.
