dont use a hi-lift for changing wheels it's dangerous - just put a jack under the axle and raise it just enough to get the wheel off and on

trolley or bottle 1st.

If you have to use a high lift without the adaptor for defenders, but the flat on the bumper closest to the chassis rail on the side you need. chok the rear wheels. jack slowely. if it moves, drop it and start again. remember the jack will caster away from the vehicle so make sure its either dead flat or pushed in toward the vehicle slightly prior to jacking. slow and steady.

and try on put something under the chssis rail to support it when the wheel is off - if it fails off the jack when the wheel is off your disk will be kissing the tarmac (or in my case ages ago missing my foot by inches)

ow yer forgot that bit. I put a pair of axle stands underneath the axle incase it moves. Or a spare wheel/tyre.

The chances are that the hi lift will slew/arc rather than outright collapse. you need a fairly big area to carry this out, not parked next to another car!

where do I attach the jack (hi-lift) at the front? A diagram would be great.

Think Hazel's fooked orf. Maybe i need to go to drawing school to learn how to woo through the medium of art properly. `Oh well, i was pleased with it.

Maybe she's stuck under the landy and i have somehow acquired Hiro Nakamura style (now Matt Parkman style) powers.
