Hi I have changed my regulator in my car - however, while it all works fine the window when it reaches the top is clipping the door release cable on my driver's side front window.

I can not see to work out how to avoid this. I have tried various ways of putting in the right-hand bar in place but the issue remains.

Sorry to ask but anyone got any ideas?

I think it is the bracket which holds the window which is clipping the wire - not the section with the window in but the other side - its getting dark and I am stumped :(

Sure its the door release cable? there's something about the cables that cross over for the regulator need to be the right way, wrong way can catch and break them possibly. I'm sure I saw it on here, always worth double checking work.

thank you for your response

It seemed to be that what I did wrong was the door release cable has a slight gap/ hole in the door - I found this and used some leccy tape to hold it there.

For a bit of added help, I also used a washer, which I know may not be ideal but it resolved the issue :)
