Change Diffs-to stop the engine screaming!

Got a 2.5 tranny in my 88 series 3, engine screaming at 55mph, any quick fix diffs i can put in? or would an overdrive kit cure it? I still want to off road 4x4 etc,

changing the diffs will raise your low range ratios asyell best option would be an overdrive Jai

what size tyre's are fitted ? - putting 750s on a series is the poor mans OD - and making sure there's plenty of air in them
