central locking

hi was doing a bit of work on my freelander took off battery to replace it with new one.Few days passed fitted new battrey and now the central locking wont work.Key opens and locks all the doors.Alarm works any ideas? is there a reset that i can carry out. thanks
sorry key fob won't open the locks

Might be the central locking fuse

have u tried pressing the key fob 5 x times in quick succession , whilst being by the drivers door and near the instrument panel as that is where the alarm receiver unit is

sometimes just have to resend the signal to the unit when u disconnect the battery

is the battery in the key fob ok , does it need changing, car will tell u if its low by bleeping when u open ur drivers door ,

let us know how u get on and if it works plse

Introduce Yourself - Land Rover Zone

plus when u open ur drivers door and u hear a beeping thats a warning to tell u ur remote battery is getting low in case it ever does it

its cheaper just to press one of the remote buttons 5 times......
