central locking

Ok heres my other one,

the remote fob locks all 4 doors and boot fine, but when trying to unlock, only the 2 passenger doors (and boot) open. Ive heard this might be the solenoid?, is that the whole mechenism thing that works the locks? if so, i take it i will need to replace both?

Two new door latch units, I'm afraid. Both of which include the solenoids. The rear door one is easy to do, but the driver's door you will need a lot of patience.

Shop around online for parts. FQM500120 is part number for the rear R/H latch, ALR9782 is for the front R/H latch, although this may have also changed to have an "FQM" part number.

I had to do mine, not that difficult, just aquard and time consuming. Got my solinoid from scrap yard - £20, worked a treat. Good luck.
