Central Locking problems

I have just bought a 1996 Range Rover 4.6, Central locking was all working fine untill, first the drivers door would not lock or unlock on the remote, (key was working ok). all other doors ok. Now the Passenger door is stuck in superlock and I cant open it. Back doors still working ok. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Just had the same problem on a 98 DSE. Removed the drivers door lock and checked all connections etc. Turned out the lock motor was shot....result new lock ordered. The passenger door lock superlock mode was released, see Range Rovers for details and a new lock ordered for that door also. New locks (Genuine LR) are £129.99 each from Island 4x4 Part nos. FQJ103220 (Drivers) and FQJ103230 (Passenger). You nmay be able to get the latches from a breaker but be 100% certain they work.
Anyway, after the locks were replaced, everything worked perfectly.

Thanks for that Irishrover. any idea where the fuses are for the front central locking?
I can only find referance to the rear in the manual.

The front locks are controlled by the becm.
