central locking problem

hi i have a freelander on a v plate 4 door, my problem is that the central locking will lock all the doors but wont open them ,you can here the central locking clicking but it wont push up the mechanism to open the doors .does anyone have a clue please

Have the same issue but my rear left passenger door opens and occasionally the left passenger door and drivers. But not every time. Also the drivers door fails to go down fully every now and then and have to do a key lock to get it to drop?
