Freelander 1 Central locking not working

Hi all,
So my free lander 1.8 petrol 1998
I have 1 key and key fob, to enter the car I have to press the fob twice then use the key and then open the other doors from the inside
The lock and unlock button in the centre console doesn't work but sounds like it tries when pressing to lock, however when locking with the key fob it locks all doors as it should do

Any help appreciated

You need to check that the unlock power is getting to the door lock actuators. If it is then it'll most likely be the lock actuators failing.

How could I check that just put a multi meter on the door end and press the button? And go through the cables till I find one that goes live on the press ?
