Disco 2 Central locking not working

First apologies if this has been asked before... I'm in the wilds with crap internet so can't search.
Just arrived at pub and 2000 td5 d2 won't lock. When I close door a red light flashes on dash. When I click to lock it just flashes faster. I can lock driver door with key but it doesn't lick the others.

Help please... If I can't sort it I can only have this pint and then drive home. If I can fix it I can have a skinful, leave it overnight, taxi home and walk back here tomorrow.

Hopefully I'm just going something dumb?

Just an idea,

Have you checked all other doors are closed? including bonnet and tailgate.

Why not lock the other doors from the inside, and then lock the drivers door with the key. Then beer on.

Yep, once the panic had subsided, I came up with that plan.
Anyone want anything while I'm at the bar?

I went to pick her up this morning. As I got close, I just thought I'd try to unlock from the fob and she unlocked so I tried locking and she locked. Drove home, got out and pressed the lock button and she locked fine.

Maybe it was all a dream?

Maybe She was being temperamental because she knew you were planning on leaving her.

Good news tho,

Sounds like your drivers side lock is on it's way out.
