Ok here's another issue perhaps someone can advise.
Passenger rear door only works manually.....apart from that when I lock car via key fob only driver front and driver rear locks and unlocks via fob....however if I open the passenger front door and manually lock and unlock by sliding lock up and down by hand as I do that then the drivers side of car locks activate at the same time ...yet when inactivate drivers side the passenger front door doesn't respond ???.
Any ideas. 1995 P38

Check the wiring from the B pillar to the door and take door card off and check wiring around door lock microswitch and outstation.N/s/f of course;)

That's interesting when I had problems sorting out key code lockout I disconnected blue wire from rf receiver to take it out of the equation when I was getting car started. I know it's not the latest rf receiver .....but the blue wire may make a difference..?? I will try reconnecting when I go down my yard next.

The early receivers can go tits up and burn the locks by continuously sending lock or unlock signals. The blue wire makes no difference to this type of failure.

Thanks rodntod I will check that

Yeah, probably.

You can pull the motor from a rear door-lock off (cheaper) and put it in the front ones. Just clips in so no soldering. Pretty simple to get out, just be careful about snapping clips or the little mushroom heads as you get the door-card out.
