Central locking fault.

Hi guy's, not been on in a while which is a good thing right? ok, my problem is when I press the key fob to open the doors the lights flash as normal but the locks don't unlock, no sound at all. Can open with the key but the back door will not open at all, the reer window does drop though while you hold the handle in and raises when you let go. Any ideas gents?

Welcome to the forum. The rear door... can you hear the slight click when you pull the handle slowly? There's a micro switch in there to sense when the handles been pulled.

Hi, just tried and can't hear a click just the noise of the window dropping. There is a clicking noise comeing from behind the steering column/dash area though when we tried to open the back door.

now I feel a goon! having located the clicking noise it was comeing from the fuse box with a nice diagram of what fuses are for what and where. Once we (well the wife) sorted which was the back door and pulled it out and put a spare in we now have all the cetral locking on all doors working as it should do
